Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level Embedded Software Engineer for its Collins Global Engineering & Technology Center in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will contribute to the design, development, integration and verification of embedded software, collaborating with hardware, systems and FPGA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires a STEM degree and <2 years of relevant experience, with U.S. citizenship preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in programming with C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with JavaScript for software development.
• Professional English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded software solutions.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and FPGA teams to deliver integrated software.
• Write, test, and debug C++ and JavaScript code.
• Participate in code reviews and adopt new technologies.
