Cannon Search Group LLC is seeking a Sales & Trading Analyst or Associate for our New York desk, joining a fast-scaling team that blends client coverage, execution, and a recently launched options ATS.

The role sits at the intersection of trading, technology, and client services, with exposure to senior leadership and key clients. 3–7 years in a client-facing equities or derivatives role is required.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in a client facing role within equities or equity derivatives.
• Strong understanding of equities and/or options market structure.

Responsibilities

• Support client coverage, execution, and order flow management across both high- and low-touch paths.
• Involve ATS onboarding, client demos, and onboarding of new clients.
• Serve as liaison between trading, technology, and clients as the platform grows.
• Coordinate product and operational tasks related to platform expansion.
• Provide input to senior leadership on business development and client needs.

This is an early-stage opportunity on a team that is scaling quickly, with direct exposure to senior leadership, key clients, and real input into how the business develops.

The role blends sales trading, execution consulting, and client support across both high and low-touch execution paths, with involvement in ATS onboarding, client demos, and order flow management. There is also a product and operational component, acting as a liaison between trading, technology, and clients as the platform grows.

Suitable candidates will have 3–7 years of experience in a client facing role within equities or equity derivatives. You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of equities and/ or options market structure.
