Job summary

TSC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Junior Electrical Test Engineer to help test radar and EW hardware/software. You will design and execute test infrastructure, scripts and test cases, and work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated solutions. Responsibilities include lab prototyping, V&V, unit/system testing, and building test interfaces; DoD Secret Clearance and US citizenship required or eligible; ESOP environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of electronics industry experience; internships or co‑ops acceptable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Job description

TSC’ is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL, to support the testing of next-generation radar and electronic warfare (EW) solutions. In this role, you will design and execute test infrastructure, scripts, and test cases for both hardware and software products using industry-standard automation frameworks. Responsibilities

• Support all phases of product test from lab prototyping, Verification and Validation (V&V), Qualification, through transition to manufacturing.
• Hands‑on lab testing of integrated electrical hardware and software systems.
• Collaborate within a multi‑discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.
• Assist in:
  • Development Test plans, fixtures, and test interfaces for integrated electrical hardware/software products.
  • Development and executing unit, subsystem, and system test cases.
  • Developing test station software.
  • Design, and build, the required electrical ecosystem for the device under test.
    

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Zero to two years of professional experience in the electronics industry. Relevant internships, academic projects, research, or co‑op experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of RF.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development.
• Significant experience developing automated test cases with Python, and other similar languages.
• Linux experience – environment, software development.
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Conduct cost estimating for testing, test planning and execution, data acquisition, data analysis, and reporting.
• Lead and execute testing events, develop test plans and procedures for hardware and software testing.
