Job summary

IES Residential in United States is seeking an Electrical Helper to support electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair while assisting daily operations and project activities. You will work closely with team members, customers, vendors, and leadership to ensure safety and adherence to standards.

The role emphasizes basic electrical knowledge, ability to read simple schematics, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction preferred.
• Experience in construction, operations, or service environments preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
• Entry-level experience supporting field operations or senior technicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to support project execution.
• Support diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist senior technicians and support field operations as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
