Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. in Arvada, Colorado seeks an Electrical Engineer I to join the Controls Engineering Team. The role covers electrical and instrumentation on pump and compressor production orders, serving refineries and power stations worldwide.

You will report to the Sr Electrical Eng Manager and contribute to design, development of P&ID's, and validation through FAT/testing, while advancing expertise in hazardous-area electrical systems and industrial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic instrumentation and control system engineering tasks and calculations with minimal direction and supervision.
• Performs specification research.
• Assists in development of technical documents.
• Assists in the development of P&ID's and associated I/O.
• Design of junction boxes and control panels.
• Develop PLC programs, HMI configurations, control system design and control system networks.
• FAT & panel test and verification (individually and customer witnessed).
• Works as part of a team on design projects.
