Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry‑level Electrical Engineer to contribute to municipal water and wastewater projects in Missouri. You will assist in defining design criteria, performing detailed calculations, and creating one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specs for construction.

You will also help prepare cost estimates, conduct code reviews, and participate in field investigations. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, document drafting, and responding to RFIs are key aspects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• 0–3 years of experience in electrical design
• .Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional Engineer License preferred when obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical design projects for municipal water and wastewater facilities.
• Define design criteria and perform detailed calculations.
• Develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.
• Prepare construction cost estimates.
• Conduct code compliance reviews and field investigations.
• Draft technical reports and memorandums.
• Review equipment submittals and shop drawings during construction.
• Respond to contractor RFIs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver successful project outcomes for municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects.
