Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Minimum two years of experience in design of electrical power systems.
• Familiarity with NEC and applicable electrical design standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical engineering activities for steam and power generation projects.
• Develop electrical specifications for switchgear, MCCs, transformers, VFDs, and other equipment.
• Develop bid packages for electrical contractors and review submitted bids.
• Review vendor quotations for electrical equipment to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain Revit and AutoCAD drawings, including single line diagrams, cabling plans, wiring diagrams, equipment location plans, lighting layouts, grounding plans, lightning protection plans, electrical underground drawings, and cable tray layouts.
• Coordinate electrical drawings with other project disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
• Use Navisworks Manage for model review, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination.
