Job summary

Hatch Ltd. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the electrical team for large and small capital projects. You will prepare calculations, specifications and data sheets, and participate in on-site commissioning as part of a global engineering company.

The role emphasizes understanding project scope, coordinating deliverables across disciplines, and ensuring quality and safety standards in engineering work. A PE license and 10+ years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).
10+ years of progressive experience in EPCM, heavy industrial, power generation, and/or transmission & distribution or water/wastewater.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IEEE standards.
Experience with electrical calculations and large motor/generator equipment.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets and reports.
Review electrical design criteria documents and deliverables.
Assist on-site commissioning and project procedures.
Coordinate across disciplines to ensure design evolution aligns with scope and schedule.
Maintain project documentation and quality assurance per procedures.
