Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Boston is seeking an Electrical Engineering Graduate for our Engineering Development Training (EDT) program. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to CAD/BIM design, coordination across trades, and mentorship from senior engineers.

You will contribute to projects across our MEP and commissioning platforms, learn industry standards, and participate in training sessions while benefiting from a structured progression track and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with graduation dates Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027.
• FE and EIT preferred.
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes.
• Coordinate with other trades under guidance of senior staff.
• Support design and engineering for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
• Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assignments.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits.
• Attend EDT program training sessions and support EDT activities.
• Attend Engineering Development Training seminars on technical topics.
