Job summary

PAE Consulting Engineers Inc. seeks an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer for our Boston office in a hybrid work environment. You will learn electrical system design for the built environment, modeling power distribution and lighting, and supporting project teams under mentorship.

The role emphasizes growth in Revit/AutoCAD, plan reading, and compliance with building codes. Bachelor’s in EE and EIT eligibility are required or pursued, with internship experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Ability to develop an understanding of Revit/AutoCAD.
• Experience with MS Office Suite is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Develop proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Read plans and assist in distribution, lighting, power and technology system design.
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution and code compliance.
• Model distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy using Easy Power.
• Perform electrical load calculations.
• Research codes and undertake code compliance analysis.
