Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 0 to 1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Excellent research skills with analytical mindset.
• General understanding of electrical engineering in design for large capital projects.
• Familiarity with electrical construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance practices.
• Competent interpersonal and communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software and tools.
• Familiarity with design software (CADD, Aspen, CAPE, AutoCAD Electrical).

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data related to substation components and equipment specifications.
• Assist with basic electrical engineering tasks for single line, three line, and bus arrangements.
• Perform routine engineering functions and provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements.
• Verify site characteristics and provide basic technical assistance on procedures.
• Develop electrical calculations for loads, equipment sizing, and voltage drop.
• Generate documentation using electronic systems and field logs.
• Comply with safety guidelines and project procedures.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and use resources responsibly.
