Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

We’re looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer to join our fast-paced Research & Development team based in Cincinnati, OH. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is eager to contribute to cutting-edge generator and electrification technology. You'll work alongside engineers and innovators to bring high-voltage and embedded control systems from concept to prototype and beyond.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design and develop electrical subsystems and components for advanced generator technologies
  • Work hands-on with system prototypes in a lab environment
  • Create detailed schematics, wiring harnesses, and control module layouts
  • Collaborate with strategic suppliers to support component development and sourcing
  • Contribute to APQP documentation, including FMEAs and DVP&Rs
  • Build and troubleshoot prototypes, integrating advanced electrical systems
  • Develop cost models and participate in cost-reduction initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety and material regulations for electrical components
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and testing
  • Support packaging and system design to meet electrical and thermal requirements
  • Apply engineering principles independently, using good judgment and adaptability

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 0–2 years of experience in a regulated design or R&D environment

Key Skills:

  • Solid grasp of core electrical engineering concepts
  • Exposure to high-voltage system design including batteries, inverters, motors, PDUs
  • Familiarity with AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power systems
  • Experience with circuit and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar panel design software
  • Understanding of electrical component packaging and design for manufacturability
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic compliance and industry standards
  • Experience using 3D modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) is a plus
