Job summary

KBR Mission Technology Solutions seeks a Jr. Electrical & Computer Engineer to collaborate across design, development, and research of interfaces, ensuring subsystems are integrated into a viable, finished system.

You will analyze mission requirements, monitor system performance, and translate technical guidance into actionable work while supporting cross-functional teams and customer interfaces. This role offers exposure to DoD/NASA programs and opportunities to grow in a fast-paced engineering

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
0–3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops allowed).
Familiarity with MATLAB and Python.
Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Cameo.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Team-based work environment capability.

Responsibilities

Support design and development of electrical and computer engineering systems, including hardware and embedded solutions.
Develop and review technical documentation such as schematics and test procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems and software engineers.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of system-level issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
Translate guidance into usable information for assignments.
Plan and coordinate engineering functions across design, installation, testing and integration.
Conduct research studies for system improvements.
