Resolution Economics LLC seeks a Consultant I for our Austin Labor & Employment Practice, onsite this summer 2027. Entry-level position with no prior experience required; will assist with data conversion, verification, and statistical analysis to produce client-ready deliverables.

The role focuses on forming hypotheses, learning programming concepts, and shaping findings into compelling narratives. Collaborative team environment with growth into leadership roles.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Master's degree a plus but not required.
• Experience with statistical/software such as SAS, R, STATA, Python, SQL, or VBA.
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Using SAS and Microsoft Office to analyze data and present results both internally and to clients
• Gathering data from a variety of file formats using SAS programming, OCR, data entry, or other methods
• Data cleaning and processing
• Performing statistical analyses including t-tests, chi-square tests, regressions, etc.
• Supervising and reviewing Research Assistant work
• Researching additional data sources (e.g., Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Census)
• Assisting staff at all levels with project tasks and quality control
• Reviewing and summarizing documents
• Occasional travel may be required on certain projects
