Job summary

Resolution Economics, LLC is seeking a Consultant I to join our Labor & Employment Practice in Chicago, on site, with start flexibility for winter 2026 or summer 2027. The role focuses on data management, statistical analyses, and reporting to support employment litigation and consulting work.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative bachelor's degree and proficiency in SAS, R, STATA, Python, SQL, or VBA, with an interest in empirical analysis and teamwork. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics or related quantitative field.
• Experience with statistical or data programming languages (SAS, R, STATA, Python, SQL, or VBA).
• Strong understanding of economic and statistical concepts.
• Interest in employment litigation and empirical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Use SAS and Microsoft Office to analyze data and present results to clients.
• Gather data from various file formats using SAS, OCR, data entry, or other methods.
• Data cleaning and processing.
• Perform statistical analyses including t-tests and regressions.
• Supervise and review Research Assistant work.
• Research additional data sources (BLS, U.S. Census, etc.).
• Assist staff with project tasks and quality control.
• Review and summarize documents.
• Travel may be required on certain projects.
