Job summary

StratasCorp is seeking an IT Specialist I (Junior) to provide hands-on support for mission‑critical MCEN environments in Washington, DC. You will assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems, networks, and servers, while ensuring security and reliability.

The role emphasizes problem solving, customer service, and documentation, with a focus on DoD compliance and enterprise infrastructure. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires two years of IT experience in network operations or related environments.
• Experience with Windows server environments and DoD‑aligned practices is preferred.
• Certifications in security or networking are required or pending (Security+, A+, Network+, or MCSA).

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of IT systems supporting MCEN operations.
• Assist with network administration, hardware/software deployment, and system upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for customers.
• Document troubleshooting steps and maintain asset inventories.
