Job summary

cb5 Solutions LLC is hiring a Jr Data Center Engineer to join our operations team in support of a US DoW/DoD agency. You will manage data center operations, monitoring, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with TIA-942 and SOPs.

Qualifications include 6+ months of related experience and an active DoW Secret Clearance. Remedy experience is a plus, and DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of directly related data center experience.
• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
• Remedy software experience preferred.
• Current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a US DoW/DoD agency operations.
• Oversee data center operations, maintenance, and monitoring per SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with TIA-942 and related design guidelines.
• Respond to abnormal facility conditions in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Plan data center expansion including rack layouts.
• Handle capacity planning and government regulation compliance.
• Serve as POC for projects affecting Data Centers.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical and mechanical data center systems.
• Coordinate with DoW/DoD customers and provide operational support.
• Maintain access control lists and OEO support.
• Assist in Change and Asset Management.
