Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a entry-level Cybersecurity Analyst I to support DoD systems at Edwards Air Force Base. Under close supervision, you will help develop security artifacts, maintain SSPs, and participate in RMF activities with a motivated team.

You will collaborate with ISSMs, SAs, PMs, and engineers, perform vulnerability assessments, assist in incident response, and stay current with RMF, DoD 8570.01-M requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Information Technology/Information Assurance or equivalent training.
• One year or more of experience in computer systems security.
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M, IAT Level I or ability to obtain.
• Security+ certification (or completion within timeframe).
• One of the following certifications: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, or SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and analytical ability with customers and cybersecurity professionals.
• Research DoD/ JT4 policies to produce actionable requirements for Systems Engineers and Operators.
• Support RMF Assessment and Authorization processes and document SSPs/POA&Ms in eMASS.
• Document system designs, configurations, and risk mitigation techniques for decision makers.
• Notify stakeholders of changes affecting security posture and findings.
• Assist IA/CS support activities including testing and risk management.
• Provide cybersecurity engineering support to ensure DoD requirements are met.
