Job summary

USKO is seeking an attentive Entry Level Dispatcher in Independence, MO to coordinate drivers and note customer needs. You will plan routes, assign drivers for freight and package deliveries or pickups, and liaise with customers under time pressure.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in truck dispatching, basic knowledge of TMS and MS Office, and a willingness to learn. Full training is provided, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS).
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Russian/Ukrainian/English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers for freight deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate with customers about freight details and delivery/pickup times.
• Plan routes and adjust as needed.
• Prepare dispatch documents, freight bills, and invoices.
• Maintain records of dispatches, routes, and times.
• Monitor transportation regulations compliance.
• Review drivers' logs and arrival times.
• Monitor truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Log customer shipping schedules and complaints.
