Job summary

Cipher Tech Solutions seeks a DevSecOps Engineer at junior level or higher with active Secret clearance. You will deploy software/infrastructure in on‑prem and cloud, and build automated pipelines for security, testing, and deployment using GitLab CI/GitHub Actions.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, appropriate DoD certifications, Terraform for GovCloud, and agile SDLC experience. No telework; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor's or Master's in specified fields with required experience.
• Strong communication skills in oral and written form.
• Expertise developing Kubernetes objects and Helm charts.
• Experience building automated pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+)
• Terraform for deploying AWS GovCloud or Azure Government infrastructure
• Experience integrating software with SSO solutions
• Experience with agile software delivery lifecycle and requirements analysis
• Experience working in a disconnected network environment

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of software and infrastructure in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Build automated pipelines for security assessments, testing, and deployment of Infrastructure as Code.
• Support security audits and assessments of deployed infrastructure
