Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a DevOps-oriented professional to help develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software build, test, and deployment activities. You will assist with DevOps tooling, automate infrastructure, and monitor deployments to ensure smooth operations.

You will collaborate with software teams, support containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes, and contribute to IaC, configuration management, and security practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or system administration.
• Familiarity with Linux and command-line environments.
• Basic scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Understanding of SDLC concepts and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git and source code management.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Support CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment activities.
• Assist with administration and configuration of DevOps tools.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using scripting and automation tools.
• Monitor system performance and deployment activities; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with software teams to streamline build and deployment workflows.
• Support Docker/Kubernetes containerized environments.
• Contribute to IaC, configuration management, and environment provisioning.
• Apply security best practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in troubleshooting build, deployment, and operational environments.
• Contribute to technical documentation and SOPs.
