Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Junior Developer to join a growing team supporting a Federal IT modernization project. This remote role offers exposure to DevOps, BI development, and modern software practices in an agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of IT experience, familiar with SDLC, CI/CD, and BI tools like Power BI. Remote work within CONUS with occasional travel may apply.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on development experience in software engineering and DevOps.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications.
• Help maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Assist in building BI reports and dashboards for decision making.
• Maintain databases and assist with data modeling and queries.
• Collaborate with senior staff to support project goals.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality.
• Document code, data flows, and processes for compliance.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and security best practices.
