Job summary

QuantumFlo is seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join our IT team. This role combines software development with hands-on IT problem-solving, supporting infrastructure and development initiatives across the organization.

You’ll work closely with IT leadership to diagnose issues, support databases, and contribute to programming efforts using C#, MVC Core, and JavaScript, while expanding skills in SQL and cloud-based applications.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in C# and MVC Core, including JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, or similar tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows-based environments, networks, and hardware.

• Support workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
• Maintain IT documentation and helpdesk records.

What You’ll Do

As our Junior Developer, you’ll work closely with IT leadership and employees across the organization to support technology operations and development initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, network, and end-user technology issues.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines technical aptitude with a strong willingness to learn, and the minimum qualities listed below:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in C# and MVC Core, including JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or Sybase may also be considered for candidates willing to learn MS SQL.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, or similar version control/development tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows-based environments, networks, and hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot mobile environments, including iOS and Android.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical employees.

These qualifications are helpful but not required:

• Experience with PHP, Java/Android development, or Swift/iPhone development.
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar technology certifications.
• Understanding of SOAP or RESTful API calls.
• Experience creating and executing software application test routines.
