Job summary

Jobtailor in Indianapolis is seeking a software developer to help build and maintain web applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks. The role emphasizes collaboration, code quality, and learning within an Agile team.

You will contribute to REST API integration, frontend components, and participate in daily standups and sprint planning. Onsite presence is required two days per week as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent internship / project experience).
0–5 years of software development experience.
Academic, internship, or professional experience with: Java
Angular and/or React
Basic understanding of: Web application development
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
RESTful APIs
Willingness to work onsite in Indianapolis 2 days per week
Strong desire to learn and grow as a developer.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Java and Angular or React.
