Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, TX is seeking a software engineer to collaborate across functions in an Agile environment, researching to specify and develop software products, and designing, implementing, and testing features for new and existing products.

You'll work with frontend and backend developers, data scientists, and ML engineers to build scalable solutions, write quality user stories, and apply solid software engineering and testing principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, or related field.
• Experience with C#, Node.js, or a similar language.
• Exposure to MongoDB and/or SQL databases.
• Experience with Angular frontend framework.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.
• Coursework or experience with algorithms, distributed systems, and databases.
• Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and testing principles.
