Job summary

Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linville, Inc. seeks a technically-focused Project Architect/Designer with 5–10 years of experience to contribute to a collaborative studio environment on diverse project types, including K-12 or Higher Education when applicable.

Responsibilities include design development through construction administration, production of drawings in REVIT, and project management with clients and consultants. A U.S. architectural license or active registration in Texas is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• U.S. Architectural license or in process of obtaining registration
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead teams to meet project objectives

Responsibilities

• Utilize production and design skills on multiple projects in varying stages
• Produce construction documents using REVIT and manage project documentation
• Lead project teams, coordinate with clients, consultants and internal staff
• Demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving on complex projects
• Communicate effectively within a collaborative studio environment

Project Architect/ Designer

We are seeking a talented, technically-focused Project Architect/ Designer with 5 to 10 years of experience who is interested in contributing to and thriving in a positive, mutually supportive studio environment. K-12 and/or Higher Educational experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize strong production and design skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects in varying stages, both individually and as part of a project team


• Responsibilities include all phases of design documentation through construction administration, production of construction documents utilizing REVIT, project management and client, consultant and team management


• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team


• Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types


• Be a technical resource for project teams in a collaborative studio environment; Ability to successfully lead teams to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university required


• U.S. Architectural license or in the process of obtaining registration in Texas


• Must be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
