Job summary

CRB is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the design team on life sciences and technology projects in Rockville, MD. You will assist in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating across disciplines while helping to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Ideal candidates have up to five years of experience, strong communication skills, and an interest in advancing toward leadership within a dynamic project delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience in design or construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the execution and delivery of design projects.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across disciplines.
• Monitor and report on project financial performance, including forecasting and cost tracking.
• Lead smaller-scale projects or manage defined portions of larger projects.
• Coordinate internal resources and external partners to ensure project milestones are met.
• Participate in client communications and help maintain strong relationships.
• Contribute to project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and deliverables.
• Help identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Support team development and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture.
