Job summary

Stacy Nicole Interiors, Inc. invites a motivated interior design student to join our Charlotte studio as a paid part-time design internship, supporting active projects, the materials library, and Stacy Nicole Home.

This role offers 8-12 hours weekly with scheduling around coursework and studio needs, in-person at our Charlotte studio with occasional showroom visits. Compensation is $16-$19 per hour, commensurate with coursework, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in interior design, architecture, visual merchandising, marketing, or a closely related program.
• Early portfolio or coursework demonstrating creativity, initiative, and basic design understanding.
• Comfort with common productivity and presentation tools; drafting, styling, or content experience is helpful but not required.
• Dependable, organized, receptive to feedback, and willing to support creative and administrative work across Stacy Nicole Interiors and Stacy Nicole Home.
• Reliable transportation and availability for in-person work in Charlotte.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sample returns, library organization, basic product and materials research, presentation preparation, and project filing.
• Support showroom visits, studio organization, installation preparation, and behind-the-scenes project tasks.
• Assist with product styling, visual merchandising, and content preparation for Stacy Nicole Home when assigned.
• Follow naming, documentation, brand, and quality-control standards.
• Complete assigned learning exercises and incorporate feedback.
• Communicate availability, progress, and questions consistently.
