Responsibilities

As a Styling Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience collaborating with our styling team to create visually compelling story‑driven scenes for media projects. Thispaidinternship provides exposure to real-world styling work, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities to build your portfolio.You’ll assist with set styling, prop organization and talent coordination while learning industry best practices. A portfolio submission is required.

  • Actively seek and apply feedback to understand priorities and build independence.
  • Assist in the construction and styling of sets, props and merchandise per brand standards for photography and rendered images.
  • Attend weekly pre‑production meetings and follow a weekly production schedule.
  • Ensures prop and wardrobe inventory is organized.
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
  • Work part‑time hours for this in‑studio position.(Tuesday and Wednesday availability a must)
  • Stand, squat, reach and lift to 50lbs.
  • Ability to use tools such as clothing, steamers, irons, screwdrivers, mallets, and power drills as needed.
  • Low light photo and video studio environments.
  • Encounter exposure to: Flashing lights from strobes, standard commercial kitchen cleaners, loud noises (ex: vacuum, commercial kitchen hood).
Qualifications
Experience
  • Students enrolled in a continuing education program.
  • General understanding of interior design, fashion merchandising, or related arts and design fields.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating a diverse range of projects, depicts visual storytelling and/or mood boards.
Education

This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.

  • General understanding of composition principles and common techniques. (example; balance, contrast, leading lines, proportion, etc.)
  • Styling skills include constructing sets, interior design, merchandising, styling, and pinning clothes on models.
  • Communicates effectively both in person and through Microsoft tools such as Teams, Outlook and Loop.
