Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineering intern/full-time junior engineer to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, and specifications for diverse infrastructure projects. You will work with project teams to develop concepts and detailed designs using current CAD tools, contributing to successful project delivery for HNTB’s clients.

Qualifications

Demonstrates understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline.
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD tools such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.
Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering; Engineer in Training (EIT) certification; knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
Supports engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, and design of projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
