Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and design of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development projects.
• Prepare engineering plans, grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater designs, and construction details.
• Develop and modify drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Research municipal ordinances, zoning regulations, and local/state design standards.
• Compile project data, mapping, and site information to support design.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and project meetings.
• Assist with permit applications, technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality projects on schedule.
• Support preparation and review of site plan and subdivision applications.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the planning and design of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development projects.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships and co-op experience are encouraged).
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
