Responsibilities

• Design major components or major portions of a functional system or prototype.
• Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Develop basic data and preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals.
• Evaluate design factors such as manufacturability, material availability, interchangeability, strength-to-weight, and cost.
• Coordinate with other organizations affected by design development.
• Create layouts of assemblies and parts and verify drawings for clarity and accuracy.

Client is seeking Jr Design Engineers with at least 2 years of Creo experience. Must be willing to learn to how to design Cables (Harnesses) and Circuit Cards!

Design Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Orlando, FL 32819 surrounding area.

Schedule: 4/10 hour shifts - 1st shift

Onsite Role

Seeking junior level mechanical design engineers that are willing to learn how to design cables and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and become electro-mechanical engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designs major components, or major portions of a functional system, or technically advanced prototype, promotional or specific products.
• Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Develops basic data and makes preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes necessary to present a design proposal.
• Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-to-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost.
• Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development.
• Makes layouts of assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, structures, and products.
• Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning. Identifies design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommends revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Candidate must have 2 years' experience with CREO.
• Candidate must have 2 years' experience in mechanical or electrical design.
• Must be willing to learn how to design cables and circuit cards.
