Our client is scaling a Sovereign AI infrastructure platform and is looking for an early-career Junior Data Center Technician to join their Santa Clara team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build a career around the physical infrastructure behind AI - servers, racks, cabling, high-density compute, GPUs and cooling systems.
You do not need to be the finished article. This could suit someone with less than a year of hands-on experience in a data center, IT hardware, cabling, telecoms, field service, networking, electrical/mechanical work, or another practical technical environment.
What matters most is curiosity, reliability, pride in the details and a genuine appetite to learn.
You’ll be joining a site that is growing quickly and working around some of the most exciting infrastructure in the market, including GB200-class AI systems, future GPU platforms such as Vera Rubin, and direct liquid cooling.
You’ll get exposure across the full physical layer rather than being boxed into one tiny part of the process. Over time, that means learning how modern AI compute environments are built, checked, supported, repaired and scaled.
There is also a real growth path. The company is early enough that strong juniors can grow quickly as the team, site and wider platform expand.
You’ll work closely with experienced technicians and engineers across areas like:
Server, storage or network hardware experience
Fibre/copper cabling experience
GPU or liquid cooling exposure
Interest in troubleshooting, link testing, hardware diagnostics or AI infrastructure
For someone early in their career, this is a strong opportunity to get close to advanced AI infrastructure, learn from experienced engineers and build a long-term path in one of the fastest-growing areas of technology.
Unfortunately, visa sponsorship cannot be supported for this role.
