Job summary

B&A is seeking a Database Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Services at any DLA Location. If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for this exciting and impactful opportunity.

Location: Onsite/Hybrid at DLA sites including Fort Belvoir, VA; Richmond, VA; and others. You will administer, design, and audit databases, advise users on access, and apply SQL and DB technologies in a client/server

Qualifications

At least five (5) years progressive experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MS-SQL.
At least three years hands-on experience in Relational Database Management Systems.
Experience on multiple operating systems and with additional programming languages; two large projects.

Responsibilities

Administers databases; plans long-range DB administration and design with IS managers.
Designs, creates, and maintains databases in a client/server environment.
Performs quality control and auditing of databases for proper data use.
Advises users on access; designs and maintains complex DBs including security and documentation.
Applies knowledge of DB tech, development methods, and SQL; supports programming.
Maintains DB dictionaries, standards, file design, storage, and system integration.
