Job summary

All Native Group in Arlington, VA seeks a Junior Data Scientist to support a Federal Agency enterprise data management and analytics program. You will help develop ML models, prepare and analyze data, and apply NLP to unstructured datasets, growing within a high-impact federal mission environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science or related quantitative field.
• Exposure to machine learning concepts and model training/evaluation.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data and data preprocessing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and evaluate custom machine learning models (supervised and unsupervised).
• Apply NLP techniques to extract and analyze unstructured data.
• Improve entity extraction processes and models for analytic outcomes.
• Evaluate data holdings and develop models to enrich data for mission objectives.
• Prepare structured and unstructured data for modeling and analysis.
• Create data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate in an Agile delivery team and participate in sprint activities.
