Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Science professional in the Arlington, VA area with an active SECRET clearance to design and deliver data-driven solutions for Federal clients. You will work with Python, SQL, LLMs, Tableau, and Databricks to build products and automate processes.

You will collaborate with clients, translate complex findings for leadership, and contribute to proposals and white papers. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET or higher security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 2 years of Data science, data engineering or data analytics experience.
• Proficiency in connecting data sources and wrangling data using Python.
• Experience in querying and wrangling data using SQL.
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Experience utilizing Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models using Python.
• Experience performing analytics and data engineering in a cloud environment, such as Azure or AWS.
• Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and design data solutions for Federal clients.
• Develop products and solutions using Python, SQL, LLMs, Tableau, and Databricks.
• Automate processes using Power Automate where appropriate.
• Translate technical findings for technical and non-technical audiences including leadership.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and drive initiatives.
• Support RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and white papers.
