Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / Data Science or similar.
• SQL proficiency: basic joins, aggregations, normalization.
• Python scripting: pandas, functions, basics of OOP.
• Git/GitHub usage: version control in projects.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT and batch vs streaming concepts.
• Strong written communication for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain SQL transformations and Python scripts that support data ingestion and transformation workflows.
• Assist in building and testing ETL/ELT pipelines under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and testing practices that keep our data trustworthy.
• Collaborate with analysts, data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Learn and apply our data stack (cloud lake house, orchestration, and transformation tooling).
• Surface blockers, ask questions, and propose solutions as part of a collaborative team.
