GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. in Clarksville, Tennessee is seeking an motivated Entry-Level Civil/Geotechnical/Dam Engineer (0–5 years). You will support dam and levee safety projects, perform data analysis, and assist in field inspections under a senior engineer.

The role offers exposure to geotechnical and civil design tasks, drafting drawings, and preparing reports. Strong communication, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel are valued; hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• M.S. in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical or structural focus is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office and AutoCAD skills are required.
• Occasional out-of-town and/or out-of-state travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, organizing, interpreting, and presenting data for civil, environmental, and geotechnical projects.
• Performing calculations and analyses under supervision and preparing calculation packages.
• Preparing drafts of field reports and inspection/engineering reports.
• Assisting in design drawings, technical specifications, cost/quantity estimates, and permit applications for heavy civil projects.
• Dam and levee safety inspections and geotechnical site work.
• Communicating effectively with contractors, clients and team members.
