Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a cybersecurity subject matter expert to support DoD programs in Alexandria, Virginia. You will collaborate with cybersecurity engineers and assessment teams to align cybersecurity with digital engineering, cloud migration, and data sharing, while providing T&E expertise for MDAPs and prototypes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and TS/SCI clearance, with experience in DoW systems cybersecurity issues, certifications, and T&E processes.

Responsibilities

Provide cybersecurity subject matter expertise on emerging technical systems and processes within DoW
Work with cybersecurity engineers and DTE&A assessment teams on cybersecurity issues
Coordinate with DTE&A Engineering to align cybersecurity with digital engineering, cloud migration, and data automation and sharing
Provide cyber T&E expertise for MDAPs, prototypes, and emerging commercial activities
Review acquisition and milestone documentation to inform cyber assessments and risk development
Collaborate with DTE&A, R&E, and DoW engineers to facilitate cybersecurity practices and acquisition
Support DTE&A cybersecurity risk assessments for Milestone Decision Authorities, Services, and PEOs
Review TEMPs, DT plans, SEPs, LCSPs, ADMs, acquisition baselines and strategies, and other milestone documents
Develop papers, reports, and briefings for senior OSD decision makers

Work with cybersecurity engineers and DTE&A assessment teams on cybersecurity issues
Coordinate with DTE&A Engineering to align cybersecurity with digital engineering, cloud migration, and data automation and sharing
Provide cyber T&E expertise for MDAPs, prototypes, and emerging commercial activities
Review acquisition and milestone documentation to inform cyber assessments and risk development
Compile data and identify changes affecting testing equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, and testing requirements
Collaborate with DTE&A, R&E, and DoW engineers to facilitate cybersecurity practices and acquisition
Support DTE&A cybersecurity risk assessments for Milestone Decision Authorities, Services, and PEOs
Review TEMPs, DT plans, SEPs, LCSPs, ADMs, acquisition baselines and strategies, and other milestone documents
Evaluate test results, schedules, resources, and cybersecurity risks for program milestone reviews
Support WIPTs, Test and Evaluation, systems engineering, and Independent Technical Risk Assessments
Develop papers, reports, and briefings for senior OSD decision makers
Assess and recommend DT&E policy

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
TS/SCI clearance required
Experience with Digital Engineering tools is critical
SAP experience is desired
Experience with DoW systems cybersecurity issues, certifications, and test and evaluation (T&E) processes

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in cybersecurity practices, particularly in relation to digital engineering, cloud migration, and test and evaluation processes. Proficient in assessing cybersecurity risks and developing documentation for decision-making in acquisition and milestone reviews.
