The Position:

We are seeking a JuniorCybersecurity Policy Analyst to support the Office of Government-wide Policy at the General Services Administration with policy and process support for their Identity and Access Management (IAM). Some examples of responsibilities include:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client issues, needs, and context related to cybersecurity policy and implementation (Specifically in the area of Identity and Access Management (IAM))
  • Share insights, results, and recommendations in a comprehensible manner through both written presentations/reports and interactions with teams/clients
  • Work with client stakeholders and working groups to develop process maps, project plans,and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvement
  • Conduct market research on emerging technologies, technology vendors, products, and industry trends
  • Research and prepare written materials on emerging technologies and their potential applications within the federal government
  • Lead discrete deliverables and / or workstreams
  • Support approving, initiating, planning, executing, and closing out projects
  • Support the planning and management of meeting logistics, materials, and follow up actions
  • Coordinate and provide logistical support for briefings, workshops, working groups, integrated project teams, committees, conferences, boards, and additional operation activities
  • Design, issue, and analyze program surveys to identify opportunities for program improvements
  • Develop correspondence for program leads to be sent to key stakeholders
  • Develop program collateral in the Google Suite, including Google Documents, Google Slides, and Google Sheets
  • Proactively identify program risks, and deploy mitigation strategies

We believe a successful Junior Cybersecurity Policy Analyst will have:

  • BA / BS Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or similar field
  • Experience with and working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)and / or Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM).
  • 1+ years of Federal consulting experience supporting project management life cycle
  • Experience within the General Services Administration (GSA) highly valued
  • Program management certification(ex. Scrum, Agile, PMP) highly valued
  • Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance
  • Excellent customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytic skills
  • Experience creating, analyzing, and presenting surveys and data analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to build a strong degree of trust with the client
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail related to project management and task/deadline tracking
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple ongoing deliverables
The Location:

Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C. and the role will be hybrid in the D.C. Metro area.

The Fine Print:
  • Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs
  • Salary Range between $50,000-70,000 depending on experience level
  • This is an exempt, full-time position
  • Essential Physical Functions
    • Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time
    • Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
