AGE Solutions in Ft. Meade, MD is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to support connection approval and RMF processes for a DoD program. The role emphasizes documentation, policy alignment, and coordination with government stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant connections.

You will develop SOPs, attend governance meetings, and help produce metrics and reports while maintaining data integrity in CAO systems. A TS clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification are required or active.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred), or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of cybersecurity or network security experience.
• DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support CAO governance with documentation, briefings, SOPs, and CONOPS.
• Maintain SOPs/TTPs and assist with compliance across DoD/DISA policies.
• Attend governance boards and working groups; provide minutes and action tracking.
• Maintain CAO data integrity; manage mailboxes and metrics in government systems.
• Develop and implement plans for RMF, SIPRNet, MPLS networks, and cloud connection approvals.
• Provide cybersecurity policy recommendations for DISA strategic planning and change management.
• Conduct RMF/IS security reviews and assess DISN connection packages.
• Process and QA connection approval packages; deliver monthly/weekly performance metrics.
