Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to join an Information Assurance program near Ft. Meade, MD.

The role involves developing and evaluating system engineering documentation and supporting DoD Certification/Accreditation processes, while providing technical guidance for hardware/software components. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of Systems Engineering experience, TS/SCI with Poly clearance, and a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• 20+ years of System Engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree
• Information Assurance/Cryptographic experience
• Active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and lead small teams

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity high assurance evaluation activities to ensure devices meet security requirements
• Attend and participate in security-related meetings to translate vulnerability knowledge into guidance
• Document security deficiencies identified during evaluation of artifacts and documents
• Recommend clarification and process/template improvements to mitigate security concerns
