Job summary

Hollstadt Consulting is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support our Information Security Operations team in Minneapolis. You will monitor alerts, triage incidents, and respond to security requests while collaborating with IT staff to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on security or IT experience, strong communication, and the desire to deepen skills in security operations. This is a 4-day/week on-site engagement in Minneapolis.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on security or IT with security duties.
• Experience triaging alerts in SIEM or ITSM ticketing systems.
• Ability to review URLs and unblock requests, and investigate phishing emails.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts and ticket queues related to cybersecurity.
• Triage escalations, collect data, and determine false positives or hand off to analysts.
• Participate in updating security policies and controls.
• Assist in incident response activities as needed.
