Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support cloud, network, infrastructure security and IAM operations in Englewood, CO. You will contribute to security controls, access provisioning, and incident response under guidance from senior engineers.

The role offers hands-on experience across Azure/AWS/GCP, PAM, and IAM tooling, with a clear path to more senior security roles as you grow your skills. Start date September 2026 in Englewood office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with cybersecurity concentration.
• Exposure to cybersecurity, infrastructure, network operations, IT support or IAM.
• Nice-to-have: Azure/AWS fundamentals, Network+ or Security+.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts across cloud, network, and infrastructure environments.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Support network security operations including firewall rules, VPN access, and network segmentation.
• Assist with vulnerability scanning, patch validation, and remediation tracking.
• Support infrastructure security for Windows and Linux servers including hardening and access control.
• Participate in incident response activities including triage, investigation support, and documentation.
• Access provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning.
• Assist with Privileged Access Management (PAM) activities such as privileged accounts.
