Job summary

Fuse Integration Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to support planning, implementation, and upgrades of security measures protecting DoD data and networks.

You will troubleshoot security and network issues, respond to breaches, and apply RMF/IA controls in a collaborative, agile environment. The role requires a technical degree or 6 years equivalent, 2–4 years in cyber/IT, Linux and virtualization proficiency, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Science or related technical field or 6 years equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years hands-on cyber/IT experience.
• Experience with virtualized systems and administration (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).
• Linux systems configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and upgrade security measures protecting Fuse and DoD data.
• Troubleshoot security and network problems and respond to breaches.
• Ensure compliance with DoD RMF IA controls.
• Collaborate in design reviews, sprint planning, and code reviews.
