Saalex Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer I in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. You will design, implement, and secure enterprise IT and network systems in support of DoD LVC environments.

Responsibilities include hardening systems, applying security controls, vulnerability remediation, and RMF documentation. Requirements include 1–3 years in cybersecurity engineering, knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD frameworks, and relevant DoD 8140 certifications.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
• DoD 8140-aligned certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and secure enterprise IT and network systems.
• Assist in applying security controls and patches to systems and applications.
• Support vulnerability scanning and remediation activities.
• Assist with RMF and security compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement secure solutions.
