Job summary

D2Sol Inc. seeks a software developer to design and implement system functionality, web services interfaces, and Java modules.

You will lead design phases per the SDLC, translating business requirements into technical specifications and collaborating across teams to ensure correct Java implementations. The role requires 2–3 years of software development experience, expertise in Java/J2EE, SQL, and Curam, plus strong documentation skills using MS Office tools.

Qualifications

Degree in computer science/engineering related field.
2-3 years of work experience in software development.
Experience with object-oriented design, agile methods, SDLC, and Curam.

Responsibilities

Design and develop system functionality, web services interfaces and Java modules.
Lead software specification and design phases using SDLC.
Translate business requirements into technical design documents.
Collaborate with development teams to implement Java technologies.
Assist testing team to obtain sample data via SQL queries.
Review test plans, test cases and test strategies.
Create technical documents using MS-Office, Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Prepare technical design documents for all release changes.
