Job summary

D2Sol Inc. seeks a software developer to design and implement system functionality, web services interfaces, and Java modules.

You will lead design phases per the SDLC, translating business requirements into technical specifications and collaborating across teams to ensure correct Java implementations. The role requires 2–3 years of software development experience, expertise in Java/J2EE, SQL, and Curam, plus strong documentation skills using MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science/engineering related field.
• 2-3 years of work experience in software development.
• Experience with object-oriented design, agile methods, SDLC, and Curam.

Responsibilities

Requires involvement in design and develop system functionality, web services interfaces and Java modules, using standard Agile methodology and best practices. Use the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology to lead software specification and design phases. Translate business requirements into technical design document, adhering to defined Cúram standards and best practices. Collaborate with other development and team members to ensure Java technologies are properly implemented and maintained. Assist the testing team to get sample data from the database using SQL queries. Review test plans, test cases and test strategies. Create technical documents using MS-Office products, Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Prepare technical design documents for all changes implemented in the release.

Requires degree in bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering related. 2-3 years of work experience in software development. Position requires expertise in object-oriented concepts, agile methodologies, SDLC, unit testing, JAVA/J2EE technologies, SQL, Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JSP, JAVA Script), Curam Software, ability to prepare technical documents.
