Job summary

IBM is seeking an on-site Curam Developer – Consultant for a 12+ month engagement in Columbia, SC. The role requires deep Curam experience, Java/J2EE, NodeJS, ReactJS, SQL/NoSQL, and AWS. Collaboration with diverse teams and vendors will be essential to meet project goals.

The candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and document detailed technical design documents based on business requirements.
• Develop software components/APIs following coding standards.
• Conduct data mapping and gap analysis to verify alignment with business needs.
• Assist leads with technical issue analysis and write SQL queries for data gathering.
• Use Cúram framework to develop new functionalities and resolve defects.
• Provide technical guidance to project team and vendors on best practices.
• Identify and review approaches to meet business requirements using Cúram; communicate risks.
• Collaborate with leadership, analysts, managers on requirements and specs.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed timely and meet quality standards.
• Report project status and risks to MMS leadership in writing and orally.
• Translate complex technical concepts to both business and technical teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
