Job summary

Bybit is seeking a finance/crypto risk professional to join its 24/7 Trading Desk. You will monitor risk, manage exposures, and support real-time operations across a global venue, working closely with the CRO and Head of Trading Desk.

The role emphasizes derivatives and crypto-asset instruments, rigorous risk controls, and strong communication in German and English, with Austria-based preference but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Preferably a degree in finance or economics or comparable qualification.
• Product knowledge and experience with financial instruments, especially derivatives and crypto-assets.
• Risk management knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated, 24/7/365 environment.
• This position is preferably based in Austria, Vienna (but not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Regular reporting to the Head of Trading Desk and, if needed, escalation to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
• Real-time risk monitoring during shift.
• Monitoring liquidity provider connectivity including failover initiation and performance.
• Adjust exposures within pre-approved limits.
• Manual hedge execution in line with predefined thresholds.
• Minor spread adjustments approval per internal policy.
• Handling first-level escalations of desk incidents.
• Operate the 24/7/365 Trading Desk and perform handovers.
• Coordinate with the Trading Desk team.
